   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons:

(a)  pursuant to section 4 of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board Act, appoints Kathleen Carol Fox of Gatineau, Quebec, to be a full-time member of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of four years;

(b)  pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board Act, designates Kathleen Carol Fox of Gatineau, Quebec, a full-time member of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board, to be the Chairperson of the Board; and

(c)  pursuant to subsection 4(6) of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation and Safety Board Act, fixes her remuneration and other employment conditions at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($172,900 - $203,300);

effective August 21, 2014.

   Sur recommandation du leader du gouvernement à la Chambre des communes, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu de l’article 4 de la Loi sur le Bureau canadien d’enquête sur les accidents de transport et de la sécurité des transports, nomme Kathleen Carol Fox, de Gatineau (Québec), membre à temps plein du Bureau canadien d’enquête sur les accidents de transport et de la sécurité des transports, à titre inamovible, pour un mandat de quatre ans;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le Bureau canadien d’enquête sur les accidents de transport et de la sécurité des transports, choisit Kathleen Carol Fox, de Gatineau (Québec), membre à temps plein du Bureau canadien d’enquête sur les accidents de transport et de la sécurité des transports, comme présidente du Bureau;

c)  en vertu du paragraphe 4(6) de la Loi sur le Bureau canadien d’enquête sur les accidents de transport et de la sécurité des transports, fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi au taux figurant à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (172 900 $ - 203 300 $);

à compter du 21 août 2014.
