   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food:

(a)  pursuant to subsection 7(1) of the Farm Credit Canada Act, appoints Michael Hoffort of Buena Vista, Saskatchewan, to be President and Chief Executive Officer of Farm Credit Canada, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years; and

(b)  pursuant to subsection 108(1) of the Financial Administration Act and section 7 of the Crown Corporation General Regulations, 1995, fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($255,200 - $300,200);

effective July 1, 2014.

   Sur recommandation du ministre de l'Agriculture et de l'Agroalimentaire, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 7(1) de la Loi sur Financement agricole Canada, nomme Michael Hoffort, de Buena Vista (Saskatchewan), président et premier dirigeant de Financement agricole Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 108(1) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques et de l’article 7 du Règlement général de 1995 sur les sociétés d'État, fixe sa rémunération conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (255 200 $ - 300 200 $);

à compter du 1^er juillet 2014.
