Whereas the Honourable Mary Josephine Nolan, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, will attain the age of seventy-five years on the July 31, 2014, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of section 99 of the Constitution Act, 1867;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to subsection 42(2) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Mary Josephine Nolan an annuity of $186,496 to commence on July 31, 2014, and to continue during her life.

Attendu que l’honorable Mary Josephine Nolan, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 31 juillet 2014 et que, en conséquence, elle cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu de l’article 99 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

À ces causes, sur recommandation du Ministre de la Justice et en vertu du paragraphe 42(2) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde à l’honorable Mary Josephine Nolan, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 186 496 $, payable à compter du 31 juillet 2014.
