   The Committee of the Privy Council has had before it reports representing that vacancies have occurred in the representation in the House of Commons:

 1.  for the electoral district of Macleod, in the Province of Alberta, by reason of the resignation of the Honourable Ted Menzies;

 2.  for the electoral district of Fort McMurray-Athabasca, in the Province of Alberta, by reason of the resignation of Brian Jean;

 3.  for the electoral district of Trinity-Spadina, in the Province of Ontario, by reason of the resignation of Olivia Chow; and

 4.  for the electoral district of Scarborough-Agincourt, in the Province of Ontario, by reason of the resignation of the Honourable Jim Karygiannis.

   The Committee, therefore, advises that writs do issue for the election of new Members to the House of Commons for those electoral districts, to be dated May 11, 2014, and that the polling be on June 30, 2014.

Le Comité du Conseil privé a reçu des rapports exposant qu’il existe des vacances à la Chambre des communes :

 1.  pour la circonscription électorale de Macleod (Alberta), en raison de la démission de l’honorable Ted Menzies;

2.  pour la circonscription électorale de Fort McMurray-Athabasca (Alberta), en raison de la démission de Brian Jean;

3.  pour la circonscription électorale de Trinity-Spadina (Ontario), en raison de la démission d’Olivia Chow;

4.  pour la circonscription électorale de Scarborough-Agincourt (Ontario), en raison de la démission de l’honorable Jim Karygiannis;

    À ces causes, le Comité du Conseil privé recommande que des brefs d’élection, datés du 11 mai 2014, soient délivrés en vue de combler les vacances à la Chambre des communes pour ces circonscriptions électorales et que le scrutin se tienne le 30 juin 2014.
