His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs to take the actions necessary to bring into force for Canada the General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union (recast and adopted by the 2012 Doha Congress), the Universal Postal Convention, and the Final Protocol to the Universal Postal Convention, done at Doha on 11 October 2012, and to maintain Canada’s declaration made on signing these instruments.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci à prendre les mesures nécessaires à l’entrée en vigueur pour le Canada du Règlement général de l’Union postale universelle (refondu et adopté par le Congrès de Doha 2012), de la Convention postale universelle, et du Protocole final de la Convention postale universelle, faits à Doha le 11 octobre 2012, et à maintenir la déclaration du Canada faite en signant ces instruments.
