His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Second Protocol to the Convention between Canada and New Zealand for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Joe Oliver, Minister of Finance, or Edward Fast, Minister for International Trade, or Lynne Yelich, Minister of State (Foreign Affairs and Consular), or Caroline Chrétien, High Commissioner for Canada to New Zealand, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Second Protocol to the Convention between Canada and New Zealand for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Deuxième Protocole à la Convention entre le Canada et la Nouvelle-Zélande en vue d'éviter les doubles impositions et de prévenir l'évasion fiscale en matière d'impôts sur le revenu;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Joe Oliver, ministre des Finances, ou Edward Fast, ministre du Commerce international, ou Lynne Yelich, ministre d’État (Affaires étrangères et consulaires), ou Caroline Chrétien, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès de la Nouvelle-Zélande, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Deuxième Protocole à la Convention entre le Canada et la Nouvelle-Zélande en vue d'éviter les doubles impositions et de prévenir l'évasion fiscale en matière d'impôts sur le revenu.
