Whereas the Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, the Honourable Robert J. Bauman, Chief Justice of British Columbia, will be unable to act from April 28 to May 2, 2014, inclusive, on June 12 and June 13, 2014, and from September 15 to September 19, 2014, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that another person be appointed Administrator for these periods;
Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867
(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert J. Bauman as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective April 28, 2014;
(b) appoints the Honourable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 28, 2014;
(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective May 3, 2014;
(d) appoints the Honourable Robert J. Bauman to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 3, 2014;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert J. Bauman as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective June 12, 2014;
(f) appoints the Honourable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 12, 2014;
(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective June 14, 2014;
(h) appoints the Honourable Robert J. Bauman to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 14, 2014;
(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert J. Bauman as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective September 15, 2014;
(j) appoints the Honourable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective September 15, 2014;
(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective September 20, 2014; and

(l) appoints the Honourable Robert J. Bauman to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective September 20, 2014.
Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, l’honorable Robert J. Bauman, juge en chef de la Colombie-Britannique, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 28 avril au 2 mai 2014, les 12 et 13 juin 2014, et du 15 au 19 septembre 2014 et qu’il est donc nécessaire qu’une autre personne soit nommée administrateur pour ces périodes,
À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :
a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 28 avril 2014;
b) nomme l’honorable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 28 avril 2014;
c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 3 mai 2014;
d) nomme l’honorable Robert J. Bauman à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 3 mai 2014;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 12 juin 2014;
f) nomme l’honorable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 12 juin 2014;
g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Geoffrey R. J. Gaul au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 14 juin 2014;
h) nomme l’honorable Robert J. Bauman à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 14 juin 2014;
i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 15 septembre 2014;
j) nomme l’honorable Geoffrey R.J. Gaul à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 15 septembre 2014;
k) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Geoffrey R.J. Gaul au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 20 septembre 2014;
