His Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that the collection of the interest is unjust, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to subsection 23(2) of the Financial Administration Act, remits interest in the amount of $66,483.91, paid or payable under Part I of the Income Tax Act by Donald Doucet for the 1983 to 1986 taxation years, having accrued during the period beginning on May 2, 1990 and ending on May 11, 2009, and all relevant interest on it.

Sur recommandation de la ministre du Revenu national et en vertu du paragraphe 23(2) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil, estimant que la perception en est injuste, fait remise de la somme de 66 483,91 $, payée ou à payer par Donald Doucet en application de la partie I de la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu à titre d’intérêts accumulés pendant la période débutant le 2 mai 1990 et se terminant le 11 mai 2009 pour les années d’imposition 1983 à 1986, et des intérêts afférents.
