Whereas the Honourable Warren K. Winkler, Chief Justice of Ontario, attained the age of seventy-five years on December 10, 2013, and, therefore, ceased to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;
And whereas the Honourable Warren K. Winkler is unable to act as Administrator of the Government of Ontario and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator;
Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867
(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Peter D. Lauwers as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 1, 2014;
(b) appoints the Honourable Marc Rosenberg to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 1, 2014;
(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Marc Rosenberg as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 5, 2014;
(d) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 5, 2014;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 14, 2014;
(f) appoints the Honourable Peter D. Lauwers to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 14, 2014;
(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Peter D. Lauwers as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 28, 2014;
(h) appoints the Honourable Michael H. Tulloch to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 28, 2014;
(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Michael H. Tulloch as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective May 1, 2014;
(j) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 1, 2014;
(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective May 5, 2014;
(l) appoints the Honourable Kathryn N. Feldman to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 5, 2014;

(m) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Kathryn N. Feldman as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective May 12, 2014;
(n) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 12, 2014;
(o) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective May 19, 2014;
(p) appoints the Honourable Peter D. Lauwers to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 19, 2014;
(q) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Peter D. Lauwers as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective May 26, 2014; and
(r) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 26, 2014.
Attendu que l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, juge en chef de l’Ontario, a atteint l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 10 décembre 2013 et que, en conséquence, il a cessé d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;
Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, l’honorable Warren K. Winkler n’est pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs,
À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :
a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Peter D. Lauwers au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 1er avril 2014;
b) nomme l’honorable Marc Rosenberg à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 1er avril 2014;
c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Marc Rosenberg au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 5 avril 2014;
d) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 5 avril 2014;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 14 avril 2014;
f) nomme l’honorable Peter D. Lauwers à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 14 avril 2014;
g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Peter D. Lauwers au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 28 avril 2014;
h) nomme l’honorable Michael H. Tulloch à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 28 avril 2014;
i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Michael H. Tulloch au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 1er mai 2014;
j) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 1er mai 2014;
k) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 5 mai 2014;
l) nomme l’honorable Kathryn N. Feldman à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 5 mai 2014;

o) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 19 mai 2014;
p) nomme l’honorable Peter D. Lauwers à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 19 mai 2014;
q) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Peter D. Lauwers au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 26 mai 2014;
r) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 26 mai 2014.
