Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Honourable Robert G. Richards, Chief Justice of Saskatchewan, will be unable to act from April 1 to April 6, 2014, inclusive, and from April 8 to April 13, 2014, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert G. Richards as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective April 1, 2014;

(b) appoints the Honourable Maurice J. Herauf to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 1, 2014;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Maurice J. Herauf as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective April 7, 2014;

(d) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 7, 2014;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert G. Richards as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective April 8, 2014;

(f) appoints the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 8, 2014;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective April 14, 2014; and

(h) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 14, 2014.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, l’honorable Robert G. Richards, juge en chef de la Saskatchewan, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 1^er au 6 avril 2014 et du 8 au 13 avril 2014 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert G. Richards au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 1^er avril 2014;

b) nomme l’honorable Maurice J. Herauf à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 1^er avril 2014;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Maurice J. Herauf au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 7 avril 2014;

d) nomme l’honorable Robert G. Richards à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 7 avril 2014;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert G. Richards au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 8 avril 2014;

f) nomme l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 8 avril 2014;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 14 avril 2014;

h) nomme l’honorable Robert G. Richards à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 14 avril 2014.
