Whereas, pursuant to subsection 13(2) of the Radiation Emitting Devices Act, a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Radiation Emitting Devices Regulations (Tanning Equipment), substantially in the annexed form, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on February 23, 2013 and a reasonable opportunity was afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Health with respect to the proposed Regulations;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to subsection 13(1) of the Radiation Emitting Devices Act, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Radiation Emitting Devices Regulations (Tanning Equipment).

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 13(2) de la Loi sur les dispositifs émettant des radiations, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les dispositifs émettant des radiations (appareils de bronzage), conforme en substance au texte ci-après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 23 février 2013 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard à la ministre de la Santé,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Santé et en vertu du paragraphe 13(1) de la Loi sur les dispositifs émettant des radiations, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les dispositifs émettant des radiations (appareils de bronzage), ci-après.
