   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to paragraph 4(1)(d) and subsection 4(3) of the Historic Sites and Monuments Act, appoints John Ashton of Pictou County, Nova Scotia, to be a member of the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada, as a representative of the Province of Nova Scotia, to hold office during pleasure for a period of three years.

   Sur recommandation de la ministre de l’Environnement et en vertu de l’alinéa 4(1)d) et du paragraphe 4(3) de la Loi sur les lieux et monuments historiques, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme John Ashton, de Pictou County (Nouvelle-Écosse), commissaire de la Commission des lieux et monuments historiques du Canada en sa qualité de représentant de la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse à titre amovible pour un mandat de trois ans.
