His Excellency the Governor General in Council,

on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to sections 3 and 7 of the International Boundary Waters Treaty Act and Article VII of the Schedule to the International Boundary Waters Treaty Act, designates Gordon Walker of Toronto, Ontario,

a part-time Commissioner, as the full-time Interim Chair of the International Joint Commission, and fixes his employment conditions as set out in the attached schedule, effective January 15, 2014, until such time as a new Chair is appointed.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des articles 3 et 7 de la Loi du traité des eaux limitrophes internationales et de l’article VII de l’annexe de la Loi du traité des eaux limitrophes internationales, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil désigne Gordon Walker, de Toronto (Ontario), commissaire à temps partiel, à titre de président à temps plein par intérim de la Commission mixte internationale et fixe ses conditions d’emploi, conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, à compter du 15 janvier 2014, jusqu’à ce qu’un nouveau président soit nommé.
