His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to subsection 6(1) of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Act, approves the election by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Jack Maurice Mintz of Calgary, Alberta, a member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, as Vice-President of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
