   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development:

(a)  pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Yukon Act, appoints Gerald R. Isaac of Whitehorse, Yukon, to be Administrator of Yukon to execute the office and functions of the Commissioner during his absence or illness or other inability or when the office of Commissioner is vacant, for a term of three years, effective December 21, 2013; and

(b)  pursuant to section 7 of the Yukon Act, fixes his salary at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($11,500 - $13,000).

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le Yukon, nomme Gerald R. Isaac, de Whitehorse (Yukon), au poste d’administrateur du Yukon pour assurer l’intérim en cas d’absence ou d’empêchement du commissaire ou de vacance de son poste, pour un mandat de trois ans, à compter du 21 décembre 2013;

b)  en vertu de l’article 7 de la Loi sur le Yukon, fixe son traitement au taux spécifié à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (11 500 $ - 13 000 $).
