Whereas the Minister of National Revenue, on behalf of the Government of Canada, entered into an agreement with the Government of Ontario on February 10, 2012 to exempt certain employment by Her Majesty in right of Ontario or Her agents from pensionable employment under the Canada Pension Plan;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to paragraph 7(1)(e) and subsection 40(1) of the Canada Pension Plan, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Canada Pension Plan Regulations.

Attendu que la ministre du Revenu national a conclu, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, un accord avec le gouvernement de l’Ontario le 10 février 2012 en vue d’exempter certains emplois par Sa Majesté du chef de cette province, ou par un mandataire de celle-ci, de l’emploi ouvrant droit à pension en vertu du Régime de pensions du Canada,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Revenu national et en vertu de l’alinéa 7(1)e) et du paragraphe 40(1) du Régime de pensions du Canada, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur le Régime de pensions du Canada, ci-après.
