Whereas, pursuant to subsection 11(3) of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Standards 121, 206, 223 and 301.2), substantially in the annexed form, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on October 6, 2012 and a reasonable opportunity was afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Transport with respect to the proposed Regulations;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsections 5(1) and 11(1) of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Standards 121, 206, 223 and 301.2).

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 11(3) de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile le projet de règlement intitulé, Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules automobiles (normes 121, 206, 223 et 301.2), conforme en substance au texte ci-après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 6 octobre 2012 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard à la ministre des Transports,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre des Transports et en vertu des paragraphes 5(1) et 11(1) de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules automobiles (normes 121, 206, 223 et 301.2), ci-après.
