Whereas the Westbank and District Chamber of Commerce has applied, pursuant to section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, to change its name to the “Greater Westside Board of Trade”;

And whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that the name change is not desired for any improper purpose and is not otherwise objectionable;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, approves the application by the Westbank and District Chamber of Commerce to change its name to the “Greater Westside Board of Trade”.

Attendu que la Westbank and District Chamber of Commerce a présenté, en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, une demande visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour la « Greater Westside Board of Trade »;

Attendu que le gouverneur en conseil est convaincu que le changement de dénomination n’est pas recherché dans un but irrégulier et n’est pas autrement susceptible d’objection,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la demande de la Westbank and District Chamber of Commerce visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour la « Greater Westside Board of Trade ».
