                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, hereby

(a)      pursuant to subsection 7(1) of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Act, appoints Karen Kinsley of Ottawa, Ontario, to be President of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years; and 

(b)      pursuant to subsection 7(2) of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Act, section 108 of the Financial Administration Act and section 7 of the Crown Corporation General Regulations, fixes her salary and other remuneration as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the Crown Corporation Group 8 range ($235,500 - $277,000);

effective June 16, 2003.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil

a)       en vertu du paragraphe 7(1) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne d'hypothèques et de logement, nomme Karen Kinsley, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de président de la Société canadienne d’hypothèques et de logement, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b)       en vertu du paragraphe 7(2) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne d'hypothèques et de logement, de l’article 108 de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques et de l’article 7 du Règlement général sur les sociétés d’État, fixe son traitement et autre rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle salariale du groupe 8 des sociétés d’État (235 500 $ - 277 000 $);

à compter du 16 juin 2003.
