His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Co-operation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Edward Fast, Minister for International Trade, or Joe Oliver, Minister of Natural Resources, or Lynne Yelich, Minister of State (Foreign Affairs and Consular), or Stephen Millar, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Co-operation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de coopération entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République du Kazakhstan concernant les utilisations pacifiques de l’énergie nucléaire;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Edward Fast, ministre du Commerce international, ou Joe Oliver, ministre des Ressources naturelles, Lynne Yelich, ministre d’État (Affaires étrangères et consulaires), ou Stephen Millar, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de la République du Kazakhstan, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de coopération entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République du Kazakhstan concernant les utilisations pacifiques de l’énergie nucléaire.
