   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, appoints John Gregory Peters of Manotick, Ontario, to be Usher of the Black Rod for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GC 3 ($96,000 - $112,900), effective October 1, 2013.
