His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to subsection 11(2) of the Territorial Lands Act, approves the leasing of approximately 95,496 acres (38,646 hectares) of territorial lands in Nunavut, as described in the attached schedule, to Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien et en vertu du paragraphe 11(2) de la Loi sur les terres territoriales, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la cession à bail à Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation d’environ 95 496 acres (38 646 hectares) de terres territoriales situées au Nunavut, lesquelles sont délimitées à l’annexe ci-jointe.
