His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement Establishing the Inter-American Investment Corporation; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Gary Doer, Ambassador of Canada to the United States of America, or Allan Culham, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Canada to the Organization of American States, or Kerry Buck, Political Director and Assistant Deputy Minister, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement Establishing the Inter-American Investment Corporation.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord constitutif de la Société interaméricaine d’investissement;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Gary Doer, ambassadeur du Canada auprès des États-Unis d’Amérique, ou Allan Culham, ambassadeur et représentant permanent du Canada auprès de l’Organisation des États américains, ou Kerry Buck, directrice politique et sous-ministre adjointe, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord constitutif de la Société interaméricaine d’investissement.
