His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Convention on Supplementary Compensation for Nuclear Damage; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Joe Oliver, Minister of Natural Resources, or Serge P. Dupont, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, or John Barrett, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Canada to the International Organizations in Vienna, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Convention on Supplementary Compensation for Nuclear Damage.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, la Convention sur la réparation complémentaire des dommages nucléaires;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Joe Oliver, ministre des Ressources naturelles, ou Serge P. Dupont, sous-ministre des Ressources naturelles, ou John Barrett, ambassadeur et représentant permanent du Canada auprès des Organisations internationales à Vienne, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, la Convention sur la réparation complémentaire des dommages nucléaires.
