His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to Vote No. 1 (Foreign Affairs and International Trade) of the Appropriation Act No. 2, 2013-14, appoints Michael Grant as Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of Canada to the United Nations, in New York.
