                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Defence, pursuant to section 165.21 of the National Defence Act, hereby appoints Commander Peter James Lamont, an officer of the Canadian Forces who is a barrister or advocate of at least 10 years standing at the bar of the Province of Ontario, as a military judge, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years, effective June 16, 2003.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre de la Défense nationale et en vertu de l’article 165.21 de la Loi sur la défense nationale, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme le capitaine de frégate Peter James Lamont, un officier des Forces canadiennes qui est un avocat du Barreau de la province de l’Ontario depuis au moins dix ans, juge militaire, à titre inamovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, à compter du 16 juin 2003.
