   Whereas the office of the Director of the National Museum of Science and Technology is vacant;

   Whereas the Board of Trustees of the National Museum of Science and Technology has designated Fernand Proulx, an officer of the National Museum of Science and Technology, to act as Director of the National Museum of Science and Technology;

   And whereas no person so designated by the Board of Trustees of the National Museum of Science and Technology shall act as Director for a period exceeding ninety days without the approval of the Governor in Council;

   Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to subsection 23(6) of the Museums Act, approves the designation by the Board of Trustees of the National Museum of Science and Technology of Fernand Proulx of Gatineau, Quebec, an officer of the National Museum of Science and Technology, to act as Director of the National Museum of Science and Technology until such time as a new Director is appointed.

   Attendu que le poste de directeur du Musée national des sciences et de la technologie est vacant;

   Attendu que le conseil d’administration du Musée national des sciences et de la technologie a désigné Fernand Proulx, un dirigeant du Musée national des sciences et de la technologie, à assurer l’intérim de directeur du Musée national des sciences et de la technologie;

   Attendu que le dirigeant désigné à cette fin est limitée à quatre-vingt-dix jours, sauf prorogation approuvée par le gouverneur en conseil,

   À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu du paragraphe 23(6) de la Loi sur les musées, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la désignation par le conseil d’administration du Musée national des sciences et de la technologie de Fernand Proulx, de Gatineau (Québec), un dirigeant du Musée national des sciences et de la technologie, à assurer l’intérim de directeur du Musée national des sciences et de la technologie jusqu’à ce qu’un nouveau directeur soit nommé.
