His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into an agreement with the Northwest Territories entitled the Canada-Northwest Territories Agreement on Territorial Nominees, substantially in accordance with the attached draft agreement.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la conclusion par le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, avec le gouvernement des Territoires du Nord-Ouest, de l’accord intitulé Accord Canada-Territoires du Nord-Ouest sur les candidats des territoires, lequel accord est conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint.
