Whereas the Governor in Council, taking into account the operational effectiveness of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, considers it necessary to adapt the Employment Equity Act to accommodate the Service;

And whereas, pursuant to subsection 41(6) of that Act, the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness has been consulted on the annexed Regulations;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Treasury Board and the Minister of Labour, pursuant to subsection 41(5) of the Employment Equity Act, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Regulations Adapting the Employment Equity Act in respect of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (Miscellaneous Program).

Attendu que le gouverneur en conseil juge nécessaire d’adapter la Loi sur l’équité en matière d’emploi à l’égard du Service canadien du renseignement de sécurité, en tenant compte de la nécessité de son efficacité opérationnelle;

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 41(6) de cette loi, le ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile a été consulté sur le projet de règlement, ci-après,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du Conseil du Trésor et de la ministre du Travail et en vertu du paragraphe 41(5) de la Loi sur l’équité en matière d’emploi, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement correctif visant le Règlement adaptant la Loi sur l’équité en matière d’emploi à l’égard du Service canadien du renseignement de sécurité, ci-après.
