His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the British Virgin Islands under entrustment from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the exchange of information on tax matters; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing James Michael Flaherty, Minister of Finance, or Gordon Campbell, High Commissioner to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or Susan Gregson, Deputy High Commissioner, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the British Virgin Islands under entrustment from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the exchange of information on tax matters.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des îles Vierges britanniques, agissant en vertu d’un mandat du gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord, sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant James Michael Flaherty, ministre des Finances, ou Gordon Campbell, haut-commissaire auprès du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord, ou Susan Gregson, haut-commissaire adjointe, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des îles Vierges britanniques, agissant en vertu d’un mandat du gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord, sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale.
