Whereas by Order in Council P.C. 2010-497 of April 22, 2010, the lands described in its Schedules were set apart, in accordance with the Final Agreement, dated March 5, 2002, for the use and benefit of the Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek, as a new reserve identified as Sand Point First Nation Reserve in Ontario;

And whereas the total land figure in the Order in Council was incorrectly stated;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, amends Order in Council P.C. 2010-497 of April 22, 2010 by replacing “986.648 hectares (2,437.97 acres)” with “984.603 hectares (2,433.03 acres)”.

Attendu que les terres délimitées aux annexes du décret C.P. 2010-497 du 22 avril 2010 ont été mises de côté, conformément à l’accord intitulé Final Agreement du 5 mars 2002, à l’usage et au profit de Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek pour constituer la nouvelle réserve identifiée comme la réserve de la Première nation Sand Point en Ontario;

Attendu que la superficie des terres indiquée dans le décret est incorrecte,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil modifie le décret C.P. 2010-497 du 22 avril 2010 en remplaçant « 986 648 hectares (2 437,97 acres) » par « 984,603 hectares (2 433,03 acres) ».
