His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to section 7 of the Department of the Environment Act, approves that the Minister of the Environment enter into, on behalf of Her Majesty in right of Canada, an agreement regarding the integrated cumulative environmental effects monitoring of oil sands development with the Government of Alberta, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft agreement.

Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Environnement et en vertu de l’article 7 de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Environnement, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve que le ministre de l’Environnement, au nom de Sa Majesté du chef du Canada, conclue, avec le gouvernement de l’Alberta, un accord concernant la surveillance des effets environnementaux cumulatifs et intégrés de l’exploitation des sables bitumineux, conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint.
