Whereas the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development has consulted with the Nunavut Water Board in accordance with paragraph 82(1)(f) of the Nunavut Waters and Nunavut Surface Rights Tribunal Act;

And whereas that Board has concurred with that Minister’s recommendation in accordance with subsection 82(2) of that Act;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to section 82 of that Act and section 8 of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement Act, makes the annexed Nunavut Waters Regulations.

Attendu que le ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien a consulté l’Office des eaux du Nunavut conformément au paragraphe 82(1)f) de la Loi sur les eaux du Nunavut et le Tribunal des droits de surface du Nunavut;

Attendu que l’Office a approuvé la recommandation du ministre conformément au paragraphe 82(2) de cette loi,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien en vertu de l’article 82 de cette loi et de l’article 8 de la Loi concernant l’Accord sur les revendications territoriales du Nunavut, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement sur les eaux du Nunavut, ci-après.
