His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment pursuant to subsection 44(2) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, approves that the Minister of the Environment, on behalf of the Government of Canada, enter into the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Quebec concerning the monitoring of water quality in Quebec, with the Government of Quebec, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft agreement.

Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Environnement et en vertu du paragraphe 44(2) de la Loi canadienne sur la protection de l’environnement (1999), Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil agrée la conclusion par le ministre de l’Environnement, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, avec le gouvernement du Québec, de l’Entente entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement du Québec concernant le suivi de la qualité de l’eau au Québec, lequel accord est conforme en substance avec le projet d’accord ci-joint.
