His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Convention on the Conservation and Management of High Seas Fisheries Resources in the North Pacific Ocean; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing David Chatterson, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Korea, or Michael Danagher, Minister-Counsellor (Commercial), Embassy of Canada to the Republic of Korea, or Geoffrey Dean, Counsellor (Political/Economic), Embassy of Canada to the Republic of Korea, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Convention on the Conservation and Management of High Seas Fisheries Resources in the North Pacific Ocean.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, la Convention sur la conservation et la gestion des ressources halieutiques en haute mer dans le Pacifique Nord;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant David Chatterson, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de la République de Corée, ou Michael Danagher, ministre-conseiller (affaires commerciales), ambassade du Canada auprès de la République de Corée, ou Geoffrey Dean, conseiller (politique/économique), ambassade du Canada auprès de la République de Corée, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, la Convention sur la conservation et la gestion des ressources halieutiques en haute mer dans le Pacifique Nord.
