   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport:

(a)  pursuant to section 3 of the Pilotage Act, approves the appointment by the Minister of Transport of Peter Goodwin Bernard, Q.C., of North Vancouver, British Columbia, to be a member of the Pacific Pilotage Authority to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years;

(b)  pursuant to section 10 of the Pilotage Act, appoints Peter Goodwin Bernard, Q.C., of North Vancouver, British Columbia, to be part-time Vice-Chairperson of the Pacific Pilotage Authority; and

(c)  pursuant to section 14 of the Pilotage Act, fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is comprised of a per diem within the range ($220 - $260) and an annual retainer within the range ($3,400 - $5,700).

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le pilotage, approuve la nomination par le ministre des Transports de Peter Goodwin Bernard, c.r., de North Vancouver (Colombie-Britannique), membre de l'Administration de pilotage du Pacifique, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans;

b)  en vertu de l’article 10 de la Loi sur le pilotage, nomme Peter Goodwin Bernard, c.r., de North Vancouver (Colombie-Britannique), vice-président du conseil à temps partiel de l’Administration de pilotage du Pacifique;

c)  en vertu de l’article 14 de la Loi sur le pilotage, fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération est composée d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle (220 $ - 260 $) et d’honoraires annuels dans l’échelle (3 400 $ - 5 700 $).
