His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, pursuant to subsection 10(2), section 13, subsections 15(3) and 15(4) and section 24 of the Canada-Newfoundland Atlantic Accord Implementation Act:

(a) appoints Scott Tessier of Calgary, Alberta, to be Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the

Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of six years, effective February 25, 2013; and

(b) fixes the salary and other terms and conditions of the appointment of Scott Tessier in accordance with the attached schedule, on agreement by the provincial government.

S ur recommandation du ministre des Ressources naturelles et en vertu du paragraphe 10(2), de l’article 13, des paragraphes 15(3) et 15(4) et de l’article 24 de la Loi de mise en œuvre de l’Accord atlantique Canada–Terre-Neuve, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) nomme Scott Tessier, de Calgary (Alberta), président et premier dirigeant de l’Office Canada–Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador des hydrocarbures extracôtiers à titre inamovible et pour un mandat de six ans, à compter du 25 février 2013;

b) fixe le traitement et les autres conditions de nomination de Scott Tessier à ce titre conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe et en accord avec le gouvernement provincial.
