Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Honourable John Klebuc, Chief Justice of Saskatchewan, will be unable to act from January 22 to March 10, 2013, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for this period;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable John Klebuc as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective January 22, 2013;

(b) appoints the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective January 22, 2013;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective February 16, 2013;

(d) appoints the Honourable Maurice J. Herauf to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective February 16, 2013;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Maurice J. Herauf as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective March 11, 2013; and

(f) appoints the Honourable John Klebuc to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 11, 2013.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, l’honorable John Klebuc, juge en chef de la Saskatchewan, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 22 janvier au 10 mars 2013, et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateur pour cette période,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable John Klebuc au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 22 janvier 2013;

b) nomme l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 22 janvier 2013;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 16 février 2013;

d) nomme l’honorable Maurice J. Herauf à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 16 février 2013;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Maurice J. Herauf au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 11 mars 2013;

f) nomme l’honorable John Klebuc, à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 11 mars 2013.
