His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 19 of An Act to Implement Conventions between Canada and Morocco, Canada and Pakistan, Canada and Singapore, Canada and the Philippines, Canada and the Dominican Republic and Canada and Switzerland for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Income Tax, directs that a proclamation do issue giving notice that the annexed supplementary convention, which was signed on November 29, 2011 and is intended to amend the Convention between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Singapore for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income, done in Singapore on 6 March 1976, came into force on August 31, 2012.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu de l’article 19 de la Loi de mise en œuvre des conventions conclues entre le Canada et le Maroc, le Canada et le Pakistan, le Canada et Singapour, le Canada et les Philippines, le Canada et la République Dominicaine et le Canada et la Suisse, tendant à éviter les doubles impositions en matière d’impôts sur le revenu, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil ordonne que soit prise une proclamation donnant avis que la convention complémentaire ci-jointe, signée le 29 novembre 2011 et destinée à modifier la Convention entre le Canada et la République de Singapour, tendant à éviter les doubles impositions et à prévenir l’évasion fiscale en matière d’impôts sur le revenu, faite à Singapour le 6 mars 1976, est entrée en vigueur le 31 août 2012.
