His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for the Exchange of Information on Tax Matters; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing James Michael Flaherty, Minister of Finance, or Edward Fast, Minister for International Trade, or Marcel Gaumond, High Commissioner for Canada to Brunei Darussalam, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for the Exchange of Information on Tax Matters.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de Sa Majesté le Sultan et Yang Di-Pertuan de Brunéi Darussalam sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant James Michael Flaherty, ministre des Finances, ou Edward Fast, ministre du Commerce international, ou Marcel Gaumond, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès du Brunéi Darussalam, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de Sa Majesté le Sultan et Yang Di-Pertuan de Brunéi Darussalam sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale.
