Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Ontario, the Honourable Warren K. Winkler, Chief Justice of Ontario, will be unable to act from November 12 to November 16, 2012, inclusive, and from November 28 to November 30, 2012, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective November 12, 2012;

(b) appoints the Honourable Dennis O’Connor to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 12, 2012;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Dennis O’Connor as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective November 17, 2012;

(d) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 17, 2012;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective November 28, 2012;

(f) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 28, 2012;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective December 1, 2012; and

(h) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective December 1, 2012.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, juge en chef de l’Ontario, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 12 au 16 novembre 2012 et du 28 au 30 novembre 2012 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateur pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 12 novembre 2012;

b) nomme l’honorable Dennis O’Connor à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 12 novembre 2012;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Dennis O’Connor au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 17 novembre 2012;

d) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 17 novembre 2012;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 28 novembre 2012;

f) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 28 novembre 2012;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 1^er décembre 2012;

h) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 1^er décembre 2012.
