His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 3 of the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Act, appoints François Guimont of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Deputy Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, to be styled Deputy Minister of Public Safety, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($242,900 - $285,700), effective November 12, 2012.
