   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour:

 (a)  pursuant to paragraph 9(2)(b) and subsection 10(1) of the Canada Labour Code, appoints Patric Francis Whyte of Oakville, Ontario, to be a Vice-Chairperson of the Canada Industrial Relations Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years, on a full-time basis; and

 (b)  pursuant to section 12.04 of the Canada Labour Code, fixes his remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is within the range GCQ 6 ($171,100 - $201,200);

effective November 5, 2012.

   Sur recommandation de la ministre du Travail, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

 a)  en vertu de l’alinéa 9(2)b) et du paragraphe 10(1) du Code canadien du travail, nomme Patric Francis Whyte, d’Oakville (Ontario), vice-président du Conseil canadien des relations industrielles, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, à temps plein;

 b)  en vertu de l’article 12.04 du Code canadien du travail, fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (171 100 $ - 201 200 $);

à compter du 5 novembre 2012.
