His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to section 48 of the Canada Transportation Act, approves that the Minister of Transport enter into a contribution agreement with the Transportation Association of Canada for a total amount not to exceed $1,000,000 per fiscal year, to fund transportation related activities and projects in order to promote Transport Canada’s strategic objective to provide a safe, secure, efficient, effective and financially sustainable transportation system that contributes to Canada’s economic growth and trade objectives.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu de l’article 48 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil agrée la conclusion, par le ministre des Transports, d’un accord de contribution avec l’Association des transports du Canada d’une somme totale ne dépassant pas 1 000 000 $ par exercice financier pour financer les activités et les projets liés au transport afin de favoriser l’atteinte de l’objectif stratégique de Transports Canada, soit promouvoir un réseau de transport sûr, sécuritaire, efficace, efficient et financièrement viable qui contribue à la croissance économique et aux objectifs commerciaux du Canada.
