Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Honourable J. Derek Green, Chief Justice of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be unable to act from September 18 to September 21, 2012, inclusive, and from September 28 to October 10, 2012, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;

 

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

 

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable J. Derek Green as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective September 18, 2012;

 

(b) appoints the Honourable B. Gale Welsh to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective September 18, 2012;

 

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable B. Gale Welsh as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective September 20, 2012;

 

(d) appoints the Honourable Clyde K. Wells to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective September 20, 2012;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Clyde K. Wells as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective September 22, 2012;

 

(f) appoints the Honourable J. Derek Green to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective September 22, 2012;

 

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable J. Derek Green as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective September 28, 2012;

 

(h) appoints the Honourable David Orsborn to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective September 28, 2012;

 

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable David Orsborn as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective September 29, 2012;

 

(j) appoints the Honourable B. Gale Welsh to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective September 29, 2012;

 

(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable B. Gale Welsh as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective October 1, 2012;

 

(l) appoints the Honourable Malcolm Rowe to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 1, 2012;

(m) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Malcolm Rowe as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective October 3, 2012;

 

(n) appoints the Honourable David Orsborn to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 3, 2012;

 

(o) terminates the appointment of the Honourable David Orsborn as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective October 10, 2012;

 

(p) appoints the Honourable Clyde K. Wells to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 10, 2012;

 

(q) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Clyde K. Wells as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective October 11, 2012; and

 

(r) appoints the Honourable J. Derek Green to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 11, 2012.

 

 

 


Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, l’honorable J. Derek Green, juge en chef de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 18 au 21 septembre 2012 et du 28 septembre au 10 octobre 2012, et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

 

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable J. Derek Green au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 18 septembre 2012;

 

b) nomme l’honorable B. Gale Welsh à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 18 septembre 2012;

 

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable B. Gale Welsh au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 20 septembre 2012;

 

d) nomme l’honorable Clyde K. Wells à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 20 septembre 2012;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable J. Derek Green au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 28 septembre 2012;

 

h) nomme l’honorable David Orsborn à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 28 septembre 2012;

 

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable David Orsborn au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 29 septembre 2012;

 

j) nomme l’honorable B. Gale Welsh à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 29 septembre 2012;

 

k) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable B. Gale Welsh au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 1er octobre 2012;

n) nomme l’honorable David Orsborn à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 3 octobre 2012;

 

o) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable David Orsborn au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 10 octobre 2012;

 

p) nomme l’honorable Clyde K. Wells à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 10 octobre 2012;

 

q) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Clyde K. Wells au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 11 octobre 2012;

 

r) nomme l’honorable J. Derek Green à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 11 octobre 2012.
