His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Arab Emirates for Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Edward Fast, Minister for International Trade, or Joe Oliver, Minister of Natural Resources, or Ken Lewis, Ambassador of Canada to the United Arab Emirates, or Syed Sameer Sohail Ahmed, Counsellor and Trade Commissioner, Embassy of Canada to the United Arab Emirates, to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Arab Emirates for Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des Émirats arabes unis concernant les utilisations pacifiques de l’énergie nucléaire;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Edward Fast, ministre du Commerce international, ou Joe Oliver, ministre des Ressources naturelles, ou Ken Lewis, ambassadeur du Canada auprès des Émirats arabes unis, ou Syed Sameer Sohail Ahmed, conseiller et délégué commercial, Ambassade du Canada aux Émirats arabes unis, à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des Émirats arabes unis concernant les utilisations pacifiques de l’énergie nucléaire.
