   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 3 of the Department of Industry Act, appoints John Knubley of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Deputy Minister of Industry, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($242,900 - $285,700), effective September 17, 2012.
