His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, hereby approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into an agreement entitled Extension of the Canada-Northwest Territories Agreement on Provincial Nominees with the Government of Northwest Territories, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft agreement.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu des paragraphes 5(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et 8(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la conclusion par le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, avec le gouvernement des Territoires du Nord-Ouest, de l’accord intitulé Prolongation de l’Accord Canada-Territoires du Nord-Ouest sur les candidats des provinces, lequel accord est conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint.
