His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to paragraph 48(2)(a) of the Broadcasting Act, approves that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation

(a) enter into an agreement with 250 Front Street West Inc., for the lease, by 250 Front Street West Inc., of a portion of the real property of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation located within the Canadian Broadcasting Centre at 250 Front Street West in Toronto, Ontario, for a term of forty-nine years and three months, less one day, for a total consideration in excess of $4,000,000; and

(b) in the event of default of the agreement to lease mentioned in paragraph (a) by 250 Front Street West Inc., enter into lease agreements with the tenants of 250 Front Street West Inc. in respect of the real property during the term of the agreement to lease, for a total consideration in excess of $4,000,000.

Sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu du paragraphe 48(2) de la Loi sur la radiodiffusion, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise la Société Radio-Canada :

a) à conclure un contrat de bail avec la 250 Front Street West Inc., relativement à la location par la 250 Front Street West Inc. d’une partie du bien immeuble de la Société Radio-Canada situé dans le Centre canadien de radiodiffusion au 250, rue Front Ouest à Toronto (Ontario), d’une durée de quarante-neuf ans et trois mois moins un jour et d’une valeur totale dépassant 4 000 000 $;

b) en cas de non-respect par la 250 Front Street West Inc. du contrat de bail visé à l’alinéa a), à conclure des ententes de location avec les locataires de cette société, relativement à ce bien immeuble, pendant la durée du contrat de bail et pour une valeur totale dépassant 4 000 000 $.
