Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Honourable J. Derek Green, Chief Justice of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be unable to act from June 19, 2012 to June 21, 2012, inclusive, and from June 25 to June 29, 2012, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867 

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable J. Derek Green as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective June 19, 2012;

(b) appoints the Honourable Clyde K. Wells to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 19, 2012;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Clyde K. Wells as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective June 20, 2012;

(d) appoints the Honourable David B. Orsborn to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 20, 2012;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable David B. Orsborn as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective June 22, 2012;

(f) appoints the Honourable J. Derek Green to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 22, 2012;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable J. Derek Green as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective June 25, 2012;

(h) appoints the Honourable David B. Orsborn to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 25, 2012;

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable David B. Orsborn as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective June 30, 2012; and

(j) appoints the Honourable J. Derek Green to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 30, 2012.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, l’honorable J. Derek Green, juge en chef de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 19 au 21 juin 2012 et du 25 au 29 juin 2012 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable J. Derek Green au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 19 juin 2012;

b) nomme l’honorable Clyde K. Wells à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 19 juin 2012;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Clyde K. Wells au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 20 juin 2012;

d) nomme l’honorable David B. Orsborn à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 20 juin 2012;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable David B. Orsborn au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 22 juin 2012;

f) nomme l’honorable J. Derek Green à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 22 juin 2012;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable J. Derek Green au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 25 juin 2012;

h) nomme l’honorable David B. Orsborn à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 25 juin 2012;

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable David B. Orsborn au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 30 juin 2012;

j) nomme l’honorable J. Derek Green à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 30 juin 2012.
